This Year's Hosts
The TRI conference series is convened by the Tinnitus Research Initiative, which has hosted the meeting internationally since 2006. TRI 2027 is co-hosted with the American Tinnitus Association.
American Tinnitus Association
Since 1971, the American Tinnitus Association (ATA) has been the nation's longest-serving 501(c)(3) public charity exclusively dedicated to improving the lives of people with tinnitus. Guided by values of compassion, credibility, and responsibility, ATA funds innovative research, supports patients, and provides trusted educational resources for millions living with this complex condition.
Since launching its grants program in 1981, ATA has awarded 149 innovative research grants totaling nearly $8 million. A four-star Charity Navigator–rated organization, ATA continues to incrementally advance both the scientific understanding of tinnitus and patient care.
Tinnitus Research Initiative
The Tinnitus Research Initiative (TRI) is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to advancing scientific research and developing effective treatments for tinnitus. TRI brings together researchers, clinicians, and patients to foster innovation, facilitate scientific collaboration and knowledge sharing, and improve quality of life for people affected by tinnitus.
Since 2006, TRI has worked to strengthen global, interdisciplinary collaboration and bridge the gap between tinnitus research and clinical practice. Its work includes supporting scientific and clinical research, convening conferences and workgroups, sharing research resources, and providing education for clinicians and other professionals.
